Project site 1: Trails in Upper Park Volunteers will help provide trail repair and maintenance on Middle Trail. Meet and sign in at parking lot B.
Project site 2: One Mile Recreation –Volunteers will sign in at group picnic site. Trash clean up starts here; weed removal in Sycamore Restoration site nearby and oak regeneration project in this area.
Project site 3: Water Quality Monitoring Training The Big Chico Creek Watershed Alliance will train volunteers to monitor water quality. From 9 am to noon, volunteers meet at the south side of Five Mile Recreation Area. For more information, call Timmarie at 342-6620.
Project site 4: First Ave and Verbena Fields restoration site Volunteers will remove invasive plants, pick up large and small trash and construction debris, and flag piles of asphalt to be removed later during the restoration. Breathe for Peace Workshop

Participate in one hour that could change your life and one hour that could change the world in a Breathe for Peace Workshop.
Learn the ancient practice that has been proven to reduce stress and calm the restless mind. Will Breathe for Peace is a Zazen workshop hosted by author and lecturer M.L. Cerpok Sensei.
